Comparison of Reading Aloud and Reading with Understanding with Second Grade Primary Pupils

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá čtenářskými dovednostmi žáků 1. stupně základní školy. Chtěli jsme zjistit, jestli zdatní hlasití čtenáři také velmi dobře rozumí obsahu čteného. Teoretická část práce se věnuje čtenářským výzkumům a problematice čtení v různých oblastech vzdělávání. V praktické části jsou publikovány výsledky výzkumného šetření zaměřeného na porovnání hlasitého čtení a porozumění realizovaného ve 2. ročníku na jedné základní škole v Kroměříži.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis investigates reading skills of the first stage primary pupils. We wanted to find out if able aloud readers also understand well to the content of the text. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with reading researches and with the issue of reading in different areas of the education. In the practical part are published results of the research focused on the comparison of reading aloud and understanding which was realized at randomly chosen second class at a primary school in Kroměříž.
