Occupational Therapy in the Gerontopsychiatry

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci s tématem Ergoterapie v gerontopsychiatrii se zabývám problematikou života v senescenci z hlediska gerontopsychiatrie a možnostmi ergoterapeutické intervence, které přibližuji na kazuistice polymorbidní pacientky hospitalizované na oddělení ošetřovatelských lůžek s diagnózou úzkostně depresivní syndrom. Popisuji důvod výběru daného tématu pro bakalářskou práci a uvádím stručný nástin výzkumných studií a přehled metod ucelené rehabilitace vztahujících se k problematice ergoterapie v gerontopsychiatrii. Shrnuji teoretické poznatky z oboru gerontopsychiatrie a popisuji problematiku úzkostně depresivního syndromu. V praktické části se věnuji kazuistice, dokládám vstupní a výstupní ergoterapeutická hodnocení a stanovuji krátkodobý a dlouhodobý plán ergoterapie. Na základě prostudování zdravotnické dokumentace, anamnestického rozhovoru a vstupních ergoterapeutických hodnocení a testování navrhuji krátkodobý ergoterapeutický plán pro polymorbidní pacientku s diagnózou úzkostně depresivní syndrom. Porovnávám a hodnotím výsledky mezi vstupním a výstupním ergoterapeutickým vyšetřením u pacientky. Hodnotím úspěšnost, důležitost a využití ergoterapeutické intervence u polymorbidní gerontopsychiatrické pacientky a uvádím doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

In this bachelor's thesis of the topic of: "Occupationaltherapy in gerontopsychiatry" I deal with the difficulties of life in one´s old age focusing on gerontopsychiatrie and possibilities of occupational therapy intervention, wich I describe at the case history of a patient with multimorbidity, hospitalized to nursing ward with diagnosis of anxiety depressive disorders. I describe the reason for choosing the topic of my bachelor's thesis and present a short tally of foreign studies and comprehensive rehabilitation according to the occupational therapy in gerontopsychiatry. I summarize the theoretical knowledge of gerontopsychiatry, and I describe the issue of anxiety depressive disorder. In the practical part, I apply one´s mind to case reports of patients, I include input and output of occupational therapy examination and I determine short-term and long-term occupational therapy plan. On the ground of studying the health care documentation, anamnestic interwiev, input occupational therapy assesment and testing, I suggest the short-time occupational therapy plan for patient with multimorbity diagnosed the anxiety depressive disorder.I evaluate the results between input and output occupational therapy patient examination. I evaluace the success and importance of using of occupational therapy intervention while taking care of gerontopsychiatric patient with multimorbidity and I suggest recomendations for the practice.
