Abstract:

Tématem předkládané práce jsou kamenité akumulace se zaměřením na region Českého středohoří. Kamenité akumulace jsou známy z různých částí světa a jejich morfologické, morfometrické, sedimentologické, geochronologické a environmentální vlastnosti jsou v závislosti na prostředí značně variabilní. Podobně variabilní je i terminologie užívaná v daném tématu, přičemž používání mnohých pojmů (např. balvanité, kamenité a suťové pole či proudy) není v pojetí různých autorů jednotné. Kamenité akumulace Českého středohoří představují specifický typ akumulací lokalizovaných na svazích v malých a středních nadmořských výškách. Fyzický charakter těchto akumulací, budovaných různě velkými klasty neovulkanitů, má v zásadě dvojí význam. Geomorfologický význam spočívá ve využití poznatků o akumulacích pro studium geomorfologického vývoje území a současné dynamiky povrchu. Environmentální význam je dán existencí specifického cirkulačního a termálnímu režimu, jenž v malých nadmořských výškách umožňuje život organismů, jinak charakteristických pro periglaciální podmínky. Tento režim je typický negativními teplotními anomáliemi, způsobenými prouděním vzduchu uvnitř akumulace a při jejím povrchu. Cíle disertační práce reflektují výše uvedené aspekty. Nejprve je pozornost věnována obecným konceptům vývoje kamenitých akumulací v rozdílných geomorfologických a klimatických podmínkách, stejně jako terminologickým otázkám problematiky akumulací. V samotné výzkumné části práce v první řadě prezentuje výstupy výzkumů zaměřených na geomorfologii kamenitých akumulací, a to jednak z pohledu jejich dlouhodobého vývoje (vztah ke geochronologii vývoje labského průlomového údolí v Českém středohoří a k vývoji přilehlých svahů), jednak současné dynamiky (skalní řícení, suťové proudy, dendrogeomorfologické a zoogeomorfologické vlivy), jež představuje významný faktor transformace unikátního prostředí akumulací. Druhým sledovaným aspektem je vztah morfologie a dynamiky akumulací k environmentálním (příp. ekosystémovém) charakteristikám. V tomto ohledu je pozornost věnována vztahu topografie a mikroklimatického režimu (zvláště význam morfologických a sedimentárních vlastností), vlivu vegetace na transformaci akumulací (biogeomorfologické efekty) a návrhům opatření pro management ochrany těchto lokalit. Z hlediska teoretických a metodických přístupů je kromě geomorfologického mapování, morfometrických analýz, relativního datování a mikroklimatických měření využíváno také novějších přístupů (automatizované geodetické měření, dendrogeomorfologie, aj.), které umožnily důkladněji pochopit současnou dynamiku kamenitých akumulací (oproti dříve preferovanému paleogeomorfologickému a klimato-geomorfologickému hledisku) a vztah topografie k biotickému prostředí akumulací.

Abstract:

The theme of the present thesis focuses on stony accumulations in the České středohoří Mts. Stony accumulations are known from different regions of the World and their morphologic, morphometric, sedimentologic, geochronologic and environmental characteristics are variable. Variable and ambiguous is then also terminology used in the field of study. The understanding of many terms (such as boulder, stony and scree fields or streams) is not unified in works of different authors. Stony accumulations in the České středohoří Mts. represent a specific type of accumulation located in low and mid-altitude environment. The significance of physical character of these accumulations, built by clasts of neovolcanites with different size and shape, is twofold. Geomorphologic significance lies in application of knowledge about accumulations to research of geomorphologic development of the area and of recent surface dynamics. Environmental importance of stony accumulations is conditioned by the existence of specific circulation and thermal regime, which create the conditions for organisms that are normally found in periglacial environment. This regime is characteristic with negative thermal anomalies caused by air circulation in the interior of the accumulation and near above its surface. The aims of this thesis reflect both of the above mentioned aspects. At first, the attention is devoted to general concepts of development of stony accumulations in diverse geomorphic and climatic environments as well as to terminological considerations on the accumulations. In the research part itself, the author presents research results focused on geomorphology of stony accumulations in respect (a) to long-term geomorphic development (relation to geochronology of evolution of the Elbe valley in the České středohoří Mts. and of surrounding slopes), and (b) to recent dynamics of accumulations (rock fall, clast flows, dendrogeomorphic and zoogeomorphic effects) that represent important factor affecting environmental transformation of stony accumulations. The second aspect studied concerns the relation of morphology and dynamics of accumulations to their environmental (resp. ecosystem) characteristics. In this respect, the attention is focused on relation of topography and microclimatic regime (especially the role of morphologic and sedimentologic parametres), on effects of vegetation pattern on transformation of stony accumulations, and finally on suggestions for conservation management. As regards the theoretical and methodical approaches, the author used geomorphologic mapping, morphometric analyses, relative dating and microclimatic measurements as well as some modern approaches (automatic terrestrial geodetic measurement, dendrogeomorphology), which enable to gain knowledge about recent dynamics of stony accumulations (contrarily to former priorities given to palaeogeomorphology and climatic geomorphology), and about the relation of topography and biotic environment of the accumulations.
