Transmission of Male Model Behaviour in a Family

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem „Transmise rolového chování mužů v rodině“ se zabývá pozitivním a negativním přenosem chování, které je typické pro mužskou roli v rodině, a to mezi starší a mladší generací mužů. Cílem je zjistit, co si mladší generace mužů přenáší nebo nepřenáší z chování předchozích mužských generací do své vlastní rodiny. Tuto práci tvoří část teoretická a empirická. V teoretické části vymezuji základní pojmy, které se vztahují k celému tématu a tato část je rozdělena do tří hlavních kapitol: Rodina, Genderová role a Rolové chování mužů. V empirické části, která sestává z kapitol zabývajících se samotným výzkumem, jeho interpretací a shrnutím výzkumu, se pokouším pomocí výzkumného šetření zodpovědět hlavní výzkumnou otázku a splnit cíl celé bakalářské práce. Výzkum byl realizovaný za pomoci kvalitativního metodologického přístupu. Metodu sběru dat tvořily polostrukturované rozhovory.

Abstract:

This bachelor´s thesis called: „Transmission of role behaviour of men in a family“ deals with a positive and negative transmission of behaviour which is typical for a male´s role in a family. In this thesis, transmission, or transfer, in a family is studied in one-way direction, i.e. in direction from the older generations of men towards the younger one. The aim is to find out what the young generation takes (acquires) from the male´s role behaviour of their older generations in their families and what they do not. This thesis consists of a theoretical part and an empirical part. In the theory, I present basic definitions of studied problems which are divided into three main chapters: Family, Gender role, and Role behaviour of men. In the empirical part, which comprise chapters dealing with research its interpretation and a summary of research, I carry on collecting data using a research methodology of quantitative inquiry using semi-structured dialogues, I exert on to answer the main reserarch question and meet the aim of this bachelor´s thesis.
