Design of educational posters for computer science classrooms

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je navrhnout sérii vzdělávacích plakátů pro učebny informatiky, které budou sloužit jako podpůrný materiál pro výuku a pomohou žákům lépe se orientovat v klíčových konceptech informatiky. První část této bakalářské práce je zaměřena především na teorii, vymezení pojmů a vysvětlení konkrétních oblastí v rámci infografiky. Dále práce analyzuje stávající vzdělávací materiály pro výuku informatiky a je zde zhodnocena jejich efektivnost. Na základě analýzy jsou identifikovány klíčové koncepty, které by měly být na plakátech prezentovány. Následně jsou navrženy plakáty s využitím principů vizuální komunikace a didaktiky. V závěrečné fázi práce jsou navržené plakáty ověřeny u cílové skupiny žáků. Bakalářská práce je přínosem pro učitele informatiky, žáky a školy. Učitelé získají nový a efektivní nástroj pro výuku, žáci se budou moci učit klíčové koncepty informatiky zábavnou a interaktivní formou a školy budou moci zkvalitnit výuku informatiky a vybavit své učebny moderními didaktickými materiály.

Abstract:

The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to design a series of educational posters for computer science classrooms, which will serve as supportive material for teaching and help students better navigate the key concepts of computer science. The first part of this bachelor's thesis is primarily focused on theory, defining terms, and explaining specific areas within infographics. Furthermore, the thesis analyzes existing educational materials for teaching computer science and assesses their effectiveness. Based on the analysis, key concepts that should be presented on the posters are identified. Subsequently, the posters are designed using the principles of visual communication and didactics. In the final phase, the designed posters are verified with the target group of students. This bachelor's thesis is beneficial for computer science teachers, students, and schools. Teachers will gain a new and effective tool for teaching, students will be able to learn key concepts of computer science in a fun and interactive way, and schools will be able to improve computer science education and equip their classrooms with modern didactic materials.
