Abstract:
OspC protein je vysoce variabilní lipoprotein vyskytující se na povrchu bakterie Borrelie, původce onemocnění Lymeská borelióza. Hlavní roli hraje ve fázi diseminace bakterie do těla hostitele. Některé OspC typy jsou přímo asociovány s invazivitou. V bioinformatické analýze byly OspC typy rozděleny do skupin na invazivní a neinvazivní a nalezeny rozdíly. Abstract:
OspC (outer surface protein C) is high variable lipoprotein which is located on the surface of bacteria Borrelia, causative agent of Lyme disease. This protein plays major role during dissemination into the host. Some OspC types are associated with invasiveness.
