Social Rehabilitation in The Context of Deafblindness

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat a analyzovat sociální rehabilitaci v souvislostí s osobami postiženými hluchoslepotou. Teoretická část obsahuje tři hlavní kapitoly. První kapitola ve stručnosti objasňuje základní pojmy, jako je zrakové a sluchové postižení, ale především hluchoslepotu a sociální rehabilitaci. Druhá kapitola konkrétně pojednává o hluchoslepotě, ať už z hlediska klasifikace, etiologie či samotné definice. Poslední kapitola teoretické části je věnována sociální rehabilitaci jejím možnostem a kompenzačním pomůckám. Aplikační část práce usiluje o propojení teoretických znalostí a poznatků se zkušenostmi z praxe. Tato část práce prostřednictvím případové kazuistiky zachycuje samotný proces sociální rehabilitace u konkrétní hluchoslepé ženy, jež se stala klientkou Tyfloservisu. Je zde popsán průběh sociální rehabilitace od prvního setkáni až po současný stav.

Abstract:

The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to describe and analyse the social rehabilitation of persons affected with deafblindness. The theoretical part contains three main chapters. The first chapter briefly explains the basic concepts such as visual and hearing impairment, but also deafblindness and social rehabilitation. The second chapter specifically deals with deafblindness, whether in terms of classification, aetiology and the definition itself. The last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the social rehabilitation and its possibilities and compensation aids. The application part of the thesis strives to combine theoretical knowledge and findings with practical experience. Through a case study, this part of the thesis shows the actual process of social rehabilitation in a particular deaf and blind woman who became a client of Tyfloservis. It describes a process of social rehabilitation from the first meeting to the current situation.
