Tato práce se zabývá výkonem trestu odnětí svobody z pohledu správního práva. Zaměřuje se na historii a úlohu správního soudnictví v současném právním systému a zároveň jeho roli při ochraně práv osob ve výkonu trestu, na fungování Vězeňské služby České republiky jako správního orgánu a na možnosti odsouzených osob domoci se svých práv před soudem. This thesis treats the service of sentence of imprisonment from the perspective of administrative law. It focuses on the history and role of the administrative branch of the judicial system in protecting the individual rights of inmates and also on its impact on the functioning of the Czech Prison Service as an administrative body.
