Abstract:

The content of the thesis „Metaphoric and idiomatic in journals about history in Germany and the Czech Republic (a stylistic comparison)” is a stylistic comparison of four articles from journals dealing with history, with emphasis on metaphoric and idiomatic. In theoretical part I deal with notions such as the style and the stylistics, furthermore I focus on a mass media and mass communication. The practical part is represented by the presentation of stylistic devices and the stylistic analysis itself.

Abstract:

Obsahem diplomové práce „Metaphorik und Idiomatik der Zeitschriften für Geschichte in Deutschland und in Tschechien (ein stilistischer Vergleich) je stylistická analýza čtyř článků z časopisů zabývajících se historií, s důrazem na metaforiku a idiomatiku. V teoretické části se zabývám pojmy styl a stylistika, dále se věnuji masmédiím a masové komunikaci. Praktickou část tvoří představení stylistických prostředků a samotná stylistická analýza.
