Public order and protection of citizens of the Czech Republic - functional, legal and economical differences and cooperation between the Police Force of the Czech Republic and the city police

Abstract:

Práce je věnována obecným rozdílům Policie ČR a Obecní policie. Vystihuje základní právní úpravy, přijímání policistů či strážníků a jejich základní úkoly. Dále jsem navázala bližším popisem činnosti policejních sborů v krajském městě Liberci a jejich financováním. Druhá část obsahuje vyhodnocení ankety a odpovědí respondentů na názor na MP a PČR v určitém městě a na závěr rozhovor s mladým uchazečem o služební poměr.

Abstract:

This work deals with general differences between the Police of the Czech Republic and the City Police. First, it describes the basic legal rules, recruitment of police officers or constables and their basic duties. Then I followed up with a detailed description of the constabulary activities in the regional town of Liberec and the way they are funded. The other part of my work contains the evaluation of the questionnaire and the answers of respondents concerning their opinion about the City Police and the Police of the Czech Republic in a city. An interview with a young police officer candidate is presented at the end of this work
