V predkladanej bakalárskej práci sa zaoberáme tvorbou stratégie podnikateľa v odvetví cestovného ruchu na teoretickej a praktickej úrovni. Význam odvetvia cestovného ruchu zažíva v posledných dvoch storočiach rýchle tempo rozvoja vďaka vplyvu globalizácie, možnosti voľného pohybu osôb, odstraňovaním hraníc a zrýchleného toku informácií.
