Dissolution study of dual matrix tablets containing polyvinyl alcohol and glyceryl dibehenate

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na disoluční testování hydrofilních, lipofilních a duálních matricových tablet obsahující glycerol dibehenát, polyvinylalkohol a verapamil hydrochlorid. Teoretická část je věnována obecným informacím o disolučním testování, matricovým tabletám, vybraným matematickým modelům pro vyhodnocování disolučních profilů a vlastnostem jednotlivých složek tablet. Experimentální část je věnována disolučním zkouškám matricových tablet obsahující účinnou látkou verapamil hydrochlorid a následnému vyhodnocení experimentálních dat pomocí vhodných matematických modelů. Byly získány rychlostní konstanty z hydrofilních, lipofilních i duálních matricových tablet a objasněn mechanismus uvolňování na základě nelineární regresní analýzy.

Abstract:

This work is focused on the dissolution testing of hydrophilic, lipophilic and dual matrix tablets containing glycerol dibehenate, polyvinyl alkohol and veramapil hydrochloride. The theoretical part is devoted to general information about dissolution testing, matrix tablets, selected mathematical models for evaluation of dissolution profiles and properties of individual tablet components. The experimental part is devoted to dissolution tests of matrix tablets containing the active agent verapamil hydrochloride and consequential evaluation of experimental data using right mathematical models. The kinetic constants were obtained from hydrophilic, lipophilic and dual matrix tablets and the release mechanism based on nonlinear regression was explained.
