Conservative therapy in recreational runner with posttraumatic chronic ankle instability

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou chronické nestability hlezenního kloubu po poranění, které bylo řešeno konzervativní léčbou. Teoretická část je věnována funkční anatomii, kineziologii a biomechanice hlezenního kloubu. Dále je zaměřena na vyšetření a možnosti léčby po poranění hlezenního kloubu. Je zahrnuta také kapitola o běhu, kde je zmíněna technika i formy běhu a nejčastější běžecká zranění. V praktické části je na základě vstupního vyšetření navržena terapie u probanda s poúrazovou chronickou nestabilitou hlezna s ohledem na zatížení pohybového aparátu při běhu. Práce poukazuje na skutečnost, že správným a pravidelným cvičením lze ovlivnit i chronickou nestabilitu hlezenního kloubu. Důležité je zaměřit se na pacienta z celkového pohledu, a ne pouze na problematický hlezenní kloub.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of chronic instability of the ankle joint after injury which was treated with conservative treatment. The theoretical part is devoted to the functional anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of the ankle joint. It also focuses on the examination and treatment options after ankle joint injuries. The thesis also includes a chapter on running which mentions the technique and forms of running and the most common running injuries. In the practical part, on the basis of the initial examination a therapy is proposed for a proband with post-traumatic chronic instability of the ankle with regard to the load on the musculoskeletal system while running. The work points out the fact that proper and regular exercise can affect the chronic instability of the ankle joint. It is important to focus on the patient from an overall perspective and not just on the problematic ankle joint.
