Setting up a crisis management in relation to hotel operation with a focus on cost control.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce ma za cíl analyzovat nastavení krizového managementu ve vztahu na hotelový provoz se zamřením na optimalizaci nákladů. Také má celou tématiku uceleně a vhodně vysvětlit na teoritické bázi. Ze znalostí, které jsou získány teoreticky stanoví návrh a řešení situace v hotelu, který je zasažen krizí. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První část je teoretická, druhá analytická a třetí návrhová. První část vysvětluje veškeré pojmy ohledně krizového managementu. Vysvětluje důležité pojmy jako například co je management, co je krize, jaké máme druhy nákladů a výnosů. V druhé, analytické části jsou možnosti snížení a optimalizace nákladů. Také se zda nachází možnost zvýšení výnosů. Klade se důraz na rychlá a co nejeefektivnější řešení do budoucna a také na moderní technologie. Ve třetí, návrhové části jsou veškeré poznatky uvedeny do praxe na modelovém příkladě.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis is based on analyzation of adjustment of crisis management in relation with hotel operation, focused on costs optimization. Also there is a purpose of proper and complete explanation of the problem. By knowledge obtained by theoretical study, the thesis sets suggestions for solving crisis situation in hotel operation under these crucial conditions. Thesis is dividend into three parts. The first one is theoretical, the second one is analytical and the third one is practical. In the first part, there are summed theoretical insights of crisis managment in relation with hotel operation. Also there are explained essential terms (e.g. managment, crisis, costs optimalization) in the part one. In the second analytical part, there are pointed out possibilities of costs lowering and optimizing as well as possibilities to incease income. In part two the emphasis was on quick and the most effective solutions for future hotel operation and assessment of modern technologies. In the third part all of the mentioned knowledge is used in practical meaning for solving a critical situation at model hotel.
