Measuring velocity profiles of wind tunnel by the method LDA

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na jednu z metod určení profilu rychlostí proudící tekutiny, na metodu Laser Doppler Anemometry (LDA). Základními tématy jsou teoretické vysvětlení principu této metody, možnosti jejího využití v praxi a srovnání s dalšími metodami výpočetní a Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV). Navazující části se věnující měřicímu zařízení (od firmy Dantec Dynamic), které se nachází ve školní laboratoři, jeho přípravě k měření, obsluze, práci se softwarem atd. Poslední část pojednává o výsledcích praktického měření konkrétního rychlostního profilu, které budou stručně porovnány s daty určenými metodou PIV z diplomové práce Tomáše Dufka.

Abstract:

This Bachelor work deals with one of methods to determine the velocity profile of flowing fluid, deals with Laser Doppler Anemometry (LDA). The first topic are theoretical principle of this method, using this method in practise and the compilation with some another methods computed fluid dynamics (CFD) and Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV). The next part is about the measuring instrument (made by the company Dantec Dynamic), which is located in the university laboratory. There are also some articles about preparing the instrument for measuring, using the hardware and software etc. Last part is about the results of one practical assignment, which are compared with results from PIV measuring done by Tomáš Dufek.
