The bullying and cyberbullying of the teachers from the student side in the high school environment

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou šikany a kyberšikany učitelů ze strany žáků na středních odborných školách. Začátek této práce pojednává o komplexním vymezení pojmu šikany a kyberšikany, její typologii agresorů a obětí, ale také uvádí hlavní rozdíly mezi tradiční šikanou a kyberšikanou. Další část bakalářské práce je už věnována samotnému učiteli jako oběti šikany a kyberšikany. Každá kapitola pojednává o příčinách vzniku tohoto rizikového chování a o možných formách výskytu probírané problematiky. Závěr teoretické části bakalářské práce je věnovaný prevenci a řešení šikany. V prevenci jsou uvedeny jednotlivé možné preventivní opatření, které mohou zmírnit vznik šikany a kyberšikany učitelů na půdě školy. Následně zmiňuji i jednotlivé kroky postupu pro řešení šikany a kyberšikany dle metodických pokynů. Pro praktickou část jsem zvolila kvalitativní metodu a jako nástroj sběru dat jsem využila polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Rozhovor mi poskytli tři učitelky a jeden učitel středních odborných škol v Brně, kteří se za svoji učitelskou praxi setkali s šikanou a kyberšikanou, byť svoji nebo svých kolegů. Následně jsem výsledky zpracovala za pomoci metody otevřeného kódování a uvedla je ve své praktické části.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis is focused on the problems with the bullying and cyberbullying of the teachers from the student side in the high school environment. The beginning of this Bachelor thesis contains the complex definitions of bullying and cyberbullying, the typology of aggressors and victims. Also are there mentioned the main differences between bullying and cyberbullying. The following part of this Bachelor thesis is focused on the teachers which are victims of both types of bullying. Each chapter describes the root causes of these dangerous behaviours and possible forms of them. The last part contains possibilities of the prevention and solution of bullying and cyberbullying which is focused on the teachers. The prevention part describes each possible preventive measure that can decrease the possibility of the origin of both bullying types in high school. The end of the theoretical part contains a methodical suggestion for handling bullying and cyberbullying. The practical part of the Bachelor thesis is chosen qualitative research method which used the semi-structured interview as a tool for data collection. The interview was done with three females teachers and one male teacher of the high school located in Brno. These respondents have personal experience or know colleagues who were victims. The previous interviews were used for the creation of the results with the open coding method and were used in the practical part of this Bachelor thesis.
