Utilization of the exchange picture communication system and signs of sign language in pupil with hearing impairment and mental disability

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je využití výměnného obrázkového komunikačního systému a znaků ze znakového jazyka u žáka se sluchovým postižením. V teoretické části jsou informace o sluchovém postižení, pomůckách pro sluchově postižené a o možnostech vzdělávání sluchově postižených, komunikačních systémech, alternativní a augmentativní komunikaci a výměnném obrázkovém komunikačním systému. Praktická část je zaměřena na práci se žákem speciální školy se sluchovým postižením a je zde použita kvalitativní výzkumná strategie. Metodou je případová studie. Jako technika je zde použito zúčastněné pozorování, analýza dokumentace a polostrukturovaný rozhovor s rodiči a učiteli žáka. Cílem práce je analýza možností rozvoje lexikálně – sémantické roviny s využitím výměnného obrázkového komunikačního systému a znaků ze znakového jazyka u žáka se sluchovým postižením.

Abstract:

Theme of this bachelor thesis is using the exchange picture communication system and signs from sign language at student with hearing impairment. In theoretical part is informations about hearing impairment, aids for hearing impaired and about possibilities at education of hearing impaired, communication systems, augmentative and alternative communication and about the exchange picture communication system. Practical part is concentrate on work with student of special school with hearing impairment and it is construct with qualitative research strategy. The method is case study. As technic is used involved observing, documentation analysis and half – structured interview with parents of the student and with his teachers. The target is the possibilities analysis of lexically – semantical plain with using the exchange picture communication system and signs from sign language at student with hearing impairment.
