Design of insulating Structural Components

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je návrh kompozitních izolačních konstrukcí, které odolají elektrickému i mechanickému namáhání. Návrh je znázorněn pomocí 2D a 3D počítačových modelů, které jsou podrobeny simulacím elektrického namáhání v ustáleném elektrostatickém a harmonickém magnetickém poli. Následně je zjišťována mechanická odolnost modelů konstrukcí simulací mechanického namáhání. Elektrickému i mechanickému namáhání odolal návrh kompozitní izolační konstrukce se silnou nosnou armaturou, trubicovitými kapacitními kruhy a silikonovým přechodem na napěťové hladině 110 kV, a návrh kompozitní izolační konstrukce se silnou nosnou armaturou, speciálními kapacitními "M-W" kruhy a silikonovým přechodem na napěťové hladině 400 kV. Výsledky těchto simulací jsou podkladem pro vývoj prototypu kompozitní izolační konstrukce, která může sloužit jako alternativa k příhradovým ocelovým stožárovým konstrukcím s izolátory.

Abstract:

The aim of this master's thesis is to design composite insulated cross-arms that can withstand electrical and mechanical stress. These designs are depicted by 2D and 3D computer models which are subjected to electrical stress simulations in a steady electrostatic and harmonic magnetic field. Subsequently, the mechanical resistance of the cross-arm designs is determined by a mechanical stress simulation. The composite insulated cross-arm designs that withstood the electrical and mechanical stress were the model with a strong supporting armature, tubular grading rings and a silicone transition at a voltage level of 110 kV, and the model with a strong supporting armature, special grading "M-W" rings and a silicone transition at a voltage level of 400 kV. The results of these simulations are the basis for further development of a composite insulated cross-arm prototype which can serve as an alternative to lattice steel mast structures with insulators.
