Cost controlling as a management tool in the selected company

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá nákladovým controllingem, jako nástrojem koordinace systému řízení východočeského podniku Ronal CR s.r.o. pomocí nákladových odchylek. Práce obsahuje teoretický popis controllingu, jeho cílů, úloh a funkcí. Zároveň se zaměřuje na začlenění controllingu do organizační struktury a popisuje vybrané metody strategického a operativního controllingu. Dále se zabývá stručnou charakteristikou nákladového controllingu a jeho procesem fungování pomocí rozpočetnictví, nákladových odchylek a reportingu. V praktické části analyzuje systém sestavování rozpočtů vybraného podnikatelského subjektu, které jsou využívány k výpočtům nákladových odchylek. Mimo jiné práce interpretuje a analyzuje vzniklé odchylky z hlediska jejich příčin vzniku a odpovědnosti a zahrnuje doporučená opatření pro zlepšení nákladových položek. Cílem práce je interpretovat, analyzovat a vyhodnotit soudobý stav nákladového controllingu vybrané společnosti a na základě výsledků zhodnotit jeho controllingové aktivity s ohledem na výkonnost a dlouhodobou existenci podniku.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is aimed at cost controlling as a tool of coordination of the management system of the east bohemian company Ronal CR s.r.o using cost deviations. It contains a theoretical description of controlling, its targets, tasks and functions. It also focuses on the integration of controlling into the organizational structure and describes selected methods of strategic and operational controlling. It contains a brief characteristic of the cost controlling and its operational process using budgeting, cost deviations and reporting. The practical part is focused on the budgeting system of selected business subject which is used to calculate the cost deviations. Among all this part also interprets and analyzes occurred deviations in terms of its cause of origin and responsibility and it contains recommended measures to improve cost results. The aim of this thesis is a interpretation, analysis and evaluation of current state of cost controlling of the selected company and based on the results to evaluate its controlling activities with regards to efficiency and long-term existence of the company.
