Testování úspěšnosti technické analýzy na vybraných měnových párech

Abstract:

Cílem mé bakalářské práce je sestavení úspěšné obchodní strategie za pomocí technické analýzy a následné otestování strategie na vybraných měnových párech. V teoretické části je popsáno obecné fungování devizového trhu. Dále následuje úvod do technické analýzy a představení prvků technické analýzy, které jsou použity k tvorbě obchodní strategie. V praktické části této práce je sestavena obchodní strategie, která je následně otestována na reálných historických datech vybraných měnových párů. Poté je vyhodnocena úspěšnost strategie a návrh možnosti optimalizace. Hlavním přínosem práce je proces vedoucí k sestavení obchodní strategie, otestování a vyhodnocení a následná optimalizace dané strategie. Obchodní strategie se prokázala jako profitabilní a zhodnotila počáteční kapitál o téměř 25% během tříletého testovaného období. Zavedená optimalizace pak úspěšně zvýšila zhodnocení strategie na 47%.

Abstract:

Goal of this thesis is to create successful trading strategy using technical analysis and backtesting this strategy on chosen currency pairs. In theoretical part of this thesis, the basics of foreign exchange market are described. Following part is focused on introduction to technical analysis and components of technical analysis that are used for creation of the trading strategy. In practical part, trading strategy is compiled and then tested on real historical data of chosen currency pairs. Afterwards, profitability of the trading strategy is assessed with discussion of possible optimization. Main contribution of this work is the process leading to creation of the trading strategy and backtesting, assessment and optimization of the strategy. The trading strategy proves to be profitable, returning nearly 25% over the three year tested period. Implemented optimization successfully increased profitability of the strategy to 47%.
