Franchise Opportunity of a Foreign Family Firm on the Czech Market

Abstract:

Cílem práce Franchisové příležitosti zahraniční rodinné firmy na českém trhu je vypracování podkladu pro rozhodování o rozšíření zahraničního rodinného podniku, konkrétně založením franchisy. Důležitým je zodpovězení otázky, zda v současnosti existují dostatečně atraktivní příležitosti pro založení zahraniční franchisy vybraného ruského rodinného podniku v České republice. Teoretická část je zaměřena na definování specifik rodinného podnikání, zkoumání problematiky rozšíření rodinného podniku a prohloubení pojmu rodinnosti v kontextu franchisy. Analytická část práce se zabývá vymezením charakteristik vybraného ruského rodinného podniku z hlediska činnosti podniku a také z pohledu vlivu rodiny na business. Velkou části je výzkum příležitostí franchisy vybraného rodinného podniku na českém trhu. K naplnění cílů práce je použitá řada analýz, jejichž výsledky jsou sumarizované na závěr analytické části práce.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis Franchise Opportunity of a Foreign Family Firm on the Czech Market is to develop a basis for deciding on the expansion of a foreign family business, specifically by establishing a franchise. Important task is to answer the question of whether there are currently sufficiently attractive opportunities for the establishment of a foreign franchise of a selected Russian family business in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is focused on defining the specifics of family business, examining the issue of expanding family business and deepening the concept of family in the context of the franchise. The analytical part of the thesis deals with the definition of the characteristics of the selected Russian family firm in terms of business activities and in terms of the family's influence on business. A large part is the research of the franchise opportunities of a selected family business on the Czech market. A number of analyzes are used to fulfill the objectives of the thesis, the results of which are summarized at the end of the analytical part of the thesis.
