Medical rehabilitation plan and process in treatment of patientwith structural pathology of the foot

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je nahlédnout na nohu v kontextu celého těla. Tato práce se zabývá problematikou strukturálních a funkčních patologií nohou. Obecná část je věnována základní anatomii, kineziologii a neurologii, ale také evoluci a ontogenezi lidské nohy a jejich vlivu na vývoj bipedální lokomoce. Jsou zde zmíněny nejčastější vrozené a získané vady, přičemž největší pozornost je věnována patologii hallux valgus. Práce popisuje příčiny jejího vzniku, projevy a léčbu pomocí operačních a konzervativních postupů. Práce představuje nejčastější diagnostické postupy v rámci léčebné rehabilitace. Speciální část se věnuje možnostem konzervativní terapie, zaměřuje se především na kinezioterapii, ale také vliv fyzikální terapie a měkkých a mobilizačních technik. Práce se zabývá také problematiku obuvi a jejího vlivu na vznik funkčních a strukturálních patologií nohy. Příprava rehabilitačního plánu a vlastní realizace fyzioterapie autorem práce je se zaměřením na patologii hallux valgus popsána v praktické části.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to look at the foot in the context of the whole body.This thesis deals with the structural and functional pathologies of the foot. A general section is devoted to basic anatomy, kinesiology and neurology, as well as the evolution and ontogeny of the human foot and their influence on the development of bipedal locomotion. The most common congenital and acquired defects are mentioned, with the most attention given to the pathology of hallux valgus. The thesis describes its causes, manifestations and treatment with surgical and conservative procedures. The thesis also presents the most common diagnostic procedures in the context of medical rehabilitation. A special part is devoted to the possibilities of conservative therapy, focusing mainly on kinesiotherapy, but also the influence of physical therapy and soft and mobilization techniques. The work also examines the issue of footwear and its influence on the development of functional and structural pathologies of the foot. Finally, the effect of orthotic devices and taping in the treatment of hallux valgus is explained. The preparation of the rehabilitation plan and the actual execaution of physiotherapy by the author of the thesis is described in the practical part with a focus on pathology hallux.
