Planning of crew work for different types of airlines

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na proces plánování práce posádek u různých typů leteckých společností. Obsahem práce je popis jednotlivých typů dopravců, analyzování současného stavu práce posádek leteckých společností a analyzování faktorů ovlivňujících plánování práce posádek vzhledem k typu letecké společnosti a vzhledem k délce letu. Dále jsou navrženy změny v systému přidělování posádek na jednotlivé lety, které jsou následně zhodnoceny.

Abstract:

The thesis is focusing on the crew scheduling at different types of airlines around the world. The content of the thesis is a description of each type of airlines, analyze the current status of crew work in individual airlines and also to analyze the factors affecting the planning of crew work with regard to the type of airline and the length of flight. Then, the changes of crew assignment system for individual flights are proposed and evaluated.
