Czech trade and economic interests and promoting them in the European Union

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je poskytnout čtenáři souhrnný přehled o systému a procesu prosazování českých obchodně-ekonomických zájmů v Evropské unii. Byla bych ráda, kdyby obsah této práce mohl posloužit českým podnikatelům jako pomoc při prosazování svých zájmů v Evropské unii. První kapitola se zaměřuje na definování českých obchodně-ekonomických zájmů. Druhá část práce popisuje aktuální stav systému prosazování těchto zájmů, kde uvádím jeho hlavní nedostatky a možnosti řešení. Třetí kapitola je věnována nástrojům a institucím zapojených do výše zmíněného systému a jejich rolím. V následující části práce vysvětluji samotný proces obhajování českých národních zájmů na evropském poli. Pátou a velmi důležitou součástí práce je dotazníková část, která čtenáři poskytne reálný obraz systému z pohledu zainteresovaných subjektů, a to samotných českých podnikatelů.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to provide the reader with an overview of the system and the process of promoting Czech trade and economic interests in the European Union. I would like to see the content of this work could serve as an aid to Czech entrepreneurs in promoting their interests in the European Union. The first chapter focuses on defining the Czech trade and economic interests. The second part describes the current state of the system of promoting these interests, where I mention its main defaults and possible solutions. The third chapter is devoted to instruments and institutions involved in the system mentioned above and their roles. The following chapter explains the process defending Czech national interests in the European Union. The fifth and very important part of the thesis is questionnaire part, which gives reader a realistic picture of the system from the perspective of Czech entrepreneurs themselves.
