Abstract:
Diplomová práce srovnává Aristotelovu a Menadrovu koncepci morálního charakteru. Srovnání probíhá jak v oblasti konkrétních etických ctností, tak v oblasti obecných zákonitostí fungování charakteru. Cílem je jednak interpretace postav Menandrových her perspektivou Aristotelova konceptu, jednak nalezení ilustrací pro Aristotelovo pojetí charakteru.
Abstract:
This thesis compares Aristotle's and Menander's conception of moral character. The comparison is carried out both in the sphere of specific ethical virtues, so in the sphere of the general laws of character functioning. The aim is to interpretate the characters of Menander's plays through perspective of Aristotle's concept of character and also find illustrations for Aristotle's understanding of character …more
