Usage of Microsoft Azure for high performance computing
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na srovnání vysoce výkonného sekvenčního a ekvivalentního paralelního algoritmu spuštěného v cloudovém portále MS Azure. Je zde popsána samotná platforma MS Azure se zaměřením na HPC. V práci je použitá knihovna MPI. Navržený paralelní a sekvenční algoritmus byl spuštěn na testovacím clusteru. Následně rychlosti spuštění obou algoritmů byly porovnávány.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis is focused on the comparison of a high-performance sequential and equivalent parallel algorithm running in the MS Azure cloud portal. The MS Azure platform itself is described here, focusing on HPC. The thesis uses the MPI library. The proposed parallel and sequential algorithm was run on a test cluster. Subsequently, the execution speeds of both algorithms were compared.
