E-trading and Foreign exchange market: Technological Advancement and its impact on market players

The Forex market has an extensively complex structure, its development throughout the years is a fascinating topic to explore. It is crucial to understand how retail participants are involved in forex as their presence was mostly ignored till 2017 with The Bank for International Settlements inclusion in the Triennial survey. The work asks whether retail investors have enough tools and options when starting trading with an available trading platform. Work starts by introducing the basic participants in the market. Then work focuses on introducing the trading systems on the forex market and trading technology. After that work introduces the technological advancements in the forex market that paved the way for retail traders. Therefore, there is a need to analyze and compare the available trading platform. The last part consists of introducing the platforms used for comparison and the separate analysis of each platform and closes by putting the comparison against the proposed hypothesis.
