Non-traditional forms of tourism - potential and utilization in the field of rural tourism

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vybranými netradičními formami cestovního ruchu a jejich možným využitím a potenciálem do budoucnosti venkovského cestovního ruchu se zaměřením na Českou republiku. Hlavním cílem práce je zhodnotit a zanalyzovat aktuální stav a vývoj venkovského cestovního ruchu v České republice ve spojitosti s výskytem nových nebo již existujících specifických forem turismu, které se v práci dělí podle motivace turistů a podle potřeb cílových segmentů. Významná je pro práci také reakce na aktuální světové a společenské trendy, jež dává vznik novým produktům a službám, které významně podporují nejen rozvoj venkovského cestovního ruchu. Ke splnění cílů práce slouží především metody analýzy dostupných dat v oblasti venkovského turismu a vybraných netradičních forem cestovního ruchu a SWOT analýzy. První kapitola obsahuje teoretické shrnutí oblasti cestovního ruchu a venkovského cestovního ruchu. Druhá kapitola popisuje vybrané netradiční formy cestovního ruchu jak z hlediska motivace, tak z pohledu specifických potřeb turistů. Třetí kapitola se zabývá některými současnými trendy ovlivňujícími mimo jiné cestovní ruch, zatímco čtvrtá kapitola nabízí analýzu trendů ve venkovském cestovním ruchu v České republice a představuje některé jeho produkty. Poslední kapitola předkládá SWOT analýzu věnující se potenciálu netradičních forem turismu v oblasti venkovského turismu. Nakonec jsou navrhnuty možné produkty v rámci budoucího venkovském turismu, které by mohly dopomoci k jeho významnému rozvoji.

Abstract:

This master thesis deals with selected non-traditional forms of tourism and their possible utilization and potential for the future of rural tourism with a focus on the Czech Republic. The main goal of the thesis is to evaluate and analyze the current state and development of rural tourism in the Czech Republic in connection with the occurrence of new or already existing specific forms of tourism, which are divided according to the motivation of tourists and the needs of target segments. Another important part is the response to current global and social trends, which causes emerging of new products and services that significantly support not only the development of rural tourism. The methods of analysis of available data in the field of rural tourism and selected non-traditional forms of tourism, as well as SWOT analysis, are mainly used to meet the goal of the thesis. The first chapter contains a theoretical summary of tourism and rural tourism. The second chapter describes selected non-traditional forms of tourism both in terms of motivation and in terms of specific needs of tourists. The third chapter deals with some of the contemporary trends affecting, among other things, tourism, while the fourth chapter offers an analysis of trends in rural tourism in the Czech Republic and presents some of its products. The last chapter consists of a SWOT analysis dedicated to the potential of non-traditional forms of tourism in the field of rural tourism. Finally, possible products that could help a significant development in the future of rural tourism are proposed.
