Handicap in literature for young reader

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se bude zabývat tématem handicapu v literární tvorbě pro dospívající čtenáře. Zaměří se především na stěžejní tituly této problematiky. Teoretická část se bude věnovat přístupu k tématu handicapu v literární tvorbě před a po roce 1989. Zaměří se také na tělesný handicap, historický přístup k handicapovaným jednotlivcům a na speciální pedagogiku, jako na nejbližší vědu, zabývající se touto tematikou. Praktická část se bude zabývat interpretací tří vybraných titulů, které se pojí s touto problematikou. Cílem bakalářské práce je zmapování dané problematiky a následné využití v pedagogické praxi.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis will focus on the topic of disability in literature for teenage readers. The thesis will concentrate on several key titles about this subject. The theoretical part will detail the approach towards the subject matter of handicapped people in literature before and after 1989. Furthermore the thesis will seek to focus on people with physical handicaps and the historical approach towards disabled individuals. It will also look at special pedagogy, which is the closest science studying this issue. The practical part will focus on the interpretation of the chosen titles connected to the subject. The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to map the current situation of this topic and its future use in pedagogical practice.
