Práca sa zameriava na vysvetlenie segmentačnej metódy s názvom po častiach afinný Mumford-Shah model s využitím Taylorových jetov. Ďalej je súčasťou práce GPU implementácia spomenutého modelu s podporou technológie CUDA. The thesis focuses on the explanation of a recently introduced image segmentation method named piecewise affine Mumford-Shah using a Taylor jet splitting scheme and further provides a GPU implementation of the method using CUDA technology.
