Tématem této bakalářské práce je překlad vybrané části díla "Les Lettres chinoises" autorky Ying Chen. Po ní následuje analýza beletristického stylu. Naším cílem bylo přeložit dílo tak, aby svým obsahem a formou nejen odpovídalo originálu, ale dosahovalo i jisté umělecké kvality a zároveň bylo srozumitelné českému čtenáři.
