Effects of complex rehabilitation in patients with postcovid pneumonia

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je zhodnocení efektů komplexní rehabilitace včetně laserterapie na dechové a pohybové funkce a na soběstačnost u pacientů s pneumonií v důsledku onemocnění covid-19. Hodnotily se parametry FVC, FEV1, Tiffeneaův index, 6MWT, Barthel index, Borgova škála dušnosti a obvod mezosternale. Vyšetřovaný soubor obsahuje 15 pacientů, z toho 8 mužů a 7 žen v průměrném věku 52 ± 10,928 let, kteří podstoupili šestitýdenní ambulantně řízenou rehabilitaci v Centru léčebné rehabilitace nemocnice Prostějov, kde byly měřené hodnoty posuzovány před zahájením rehabilitace a následně proběhlo kontrolní vyšetření po 3 měsících.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the effects of complex re-habilitation, including laser therapy, on respiratory and movement functions and on self-sufficiency in patients with pneumonia due to covid-19 disease. The parameters such as FVC, FEV1, Tiffeneau index, 6MWT, Barthel index, Borg dyspnea scale and mesosternal circumference were evaluated. The investigated group includes 15 patients, of which 8 men and 7 women with an average age of 52 ± 10,928 years, who underwent a six-week outpatient rehabilitation in the Center of Therapeutic Rehabilitation of the Prostějov Hospital. The measured values were assessed before the therapy intervention began and then after 3 months.
