Incorporating a child of Roma ethnicity into a kindergarten college

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na začlenění dítěte romského etnika do kolektivu mateřské školy. Cílem práce je zjištění faktorů, které ovlivňují začlenění dítěte do kolektivu, způsoby podpoření adaptace, rozvoj prosociálního chování a možnosti, které pomohou k zapojení dítěte do řízených a neřízených činností v rámci mateřské školy. V teoretické části je práce zaměřena na romskou populaci, její jazyk a sociální vyloučení. Dále se teoretická část zabývá předškolním vzdělávaním, jeho definicí, vývojem a potřebám dětí v předškolním věku, multikulturní výchově a vzděláváním sociálně znevýhodněných žáků. Praktická část na základě kvalitativního výzkumu popisuje jednotlivé metody, jako jsou pozorování, rozhovor a případová studie. Na základě výzkumu jsou v závěru práce popsány faktory, které ovlivňují začlenění dítěte romského etnika do kolektivu mateřské školy, metody práce a doporučení pro další postup.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the integration of the child of the Roma ethnic group into the kindergarten team. The aim of this work is to find out the factors that influence the integration of the child into the collective, ways of supporting adaptation, development of prosocial behavior and possibilities that will help to involve the child in controlled and uncontrolled activities in kindergarten. The theoretical part focuses on the Roma population, its language and social exclusion. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with pre-school education, its definition, development and needs of pre-school children, multicultural education and education of socially disadvantaged pupils. On the basis of qualitative research, the practical part describes various methods such as observation, interview and case study. Based on the research, the factors that influence the integration of a Roma ethnic child into the kindergarten team, methods of work and recommendations for further steps are described at the end of the thesis.
