Knowledge of general nurses in the field of hemodynamic monitoring in intensive Care

Abstract:

Úvod: Diplomová práce mapuje problematiku monitorace hemodynamiky v intenzivní péči. Cílem bylo zjistit úroveň znalostí, názory a preference všeobecných sester v oblasti monitorace hemodynamiky na svém pracovišti. Metody: Empirická část byla realizována pomocí kvantitativního průzkumu pomocí metody dotazníkového šetření. Dotazník byl proveden na oddělení JIP a ARO ve třech nemocnicích na Moravě. Celkem bylo distribuováno 150 dotazníků. Výsledky: Vzdělání neovlivňuje úroveň znalostí sester v oblasti monitorace hemody-namiky. Typ pracoviště ovlivňuje používané metody měření hemodynamiky. Síla zá-vislosti, měřená Cramérovým koeficientem, který nabývá hodnoty 0,270, je slabá. Oddělení JIP a ARO se v používaných metodách statisticky významně liší. Na JIP pou-žívají nejčastěji Vigileo a na ARO je to jiná metoda než uvedené. Bylo prokázáno, že pracoviště, kde sestry pracují, ovlivňuje preference metody měření hemodynamiky. Síla závislosti, měřená Cramérovým koeficientem, který nabývá hodnoty 0,614, je středně silná. Oddělení JIP a ARO se v preferencích metody statisticky významně liší. Na JIP preferují nejčastěji Lidco a na ARO je to EV 1000. Závěr: Šetření odhalilo limity ve znalostech sester pracující v intenzivní péči v oblasti monitorace hemodynamiky. Věříme, že výsledky budou nápomocny při koncepci edukačních lekcí pro sestry v intenzivní péči v oblasti monitorace hemodynamiky.

Abstract:

Background. The thesis maps the issue of hemodynamic monitoring in intensive care. The aim was to identify the level of knowledge, opinions and preferences of ge-neral nurses in the field of haemodynamic monitoring at their workplace. Methods. The empirical part was realized using the quantitative survey using the questionnaire survey technique. A questionnaire survey was conducted at the ICU department at three hospitals in Moravia. In total, 150 questionnaires were distri-buted. Results The type of workplace affects the methods used to measure hemodynamic. The strength of dependence, measured by the Cramer coefficient, which takes a value of 0.270, is weak. The ICU and ARO departments differ statistically significantly in the methods used. In the ICU they most often use Vigileo, and on ARO it is a different met-hod than mentioned. The workplace where nurses work was shown to influence the preferences of the method of measurement hemodynamic. The strength of dependen-ce, measured by the Cramer coefficient, which takes a value of 0.614, is moderately strong. The ICU and ARO departments differ statistically significantly in method pre-ferences. In the ICU, Lidco is preferred most often, and on ARO it is an EV 1000. Conclusions. The investigation revealed limits on the knowledge of nurses working in intensive care in the field of haemodynamy monitoring. We believe that the results will help in the concept of educational lessons for intensive care nurses in the field of haemodynamic monitoring.
