Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této práce je vytvoření vizualizačního pluginu pro platformu Security Dashboardu, která je používána bezpečnostním týmem CSIRT-MU při ochraně sítě Masarykovy university. Tento plugin zobrazuje data generovaná DNS firewallem vhodnou formou, která usnadňuje jejich porozumění. První část práce se zaměřuje na použité technologie, především na Angular framework. Následuje seznámení s návrhem jednotlivých vizualizačních elementů. Práce se dále soustředí na implementaci komponent, datových služeb a REST API. Výsledkem je webová aplikace, která odpovídá specifickým požadavkům projektu CSIRT-MU a je, spolu s ostatními pluginy, integrována do Security Dashboardu.

Abstract:

The main aim of this thesis is to create a visualisation plugin into the Security dashboard – a platform used by the CSIRT-MU Cybersecurity Team in the protection of the network of the Masaryk University. The plugin presents the log data generated by the DNS firewall in a convenient form and consequently allows its simpler and quicker interpretation. The theoretical part briefly describes used technologies, primarily the Angular framework, followed by the designing process of the data visualisation in the form of graphs and tables. The main focus lies on the implementation of components and services as well as the REST API that is used to access the DNS firewall database. The result is an web application that matches the specific requirements of the CSIRT-MU project and is integrated, among other plugins, into the Security dashboard.
