Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá tvorbou brněnské meziválečné Fotoskupiny pěti a sestává ze dvou částí. První je věnována situaci v domácím fotografickém prostředí, nikoli jen z pohledu vývoje stylu, ale ve snaze postihnout reálné dobové nálady, které ve fotografickém prostředí od počátku dvacátých let panovaly. This thesis deals with the works by Fotoskupina pěti, a group of young photographers from Brno, who were active during the interwar period. The thesis consists of two parts. The first one portrays the situation in the Czechoslovakian First Republic photographic enviroment and describes the transition from pictorialism to purism and purism to avant-garde.
