Abstract:

Teoretická část této práce popisuje hlavní historické události přispívající ke vzniku Irské Angličtiny a následně rozebírá rozdíly ve výslovnosti několika hlavních dialektů. Odlišnosti po dalších gramatických stránkách jsou rozvedeny dále, což je hlavní část této práce. Praktická část spočívá v rozboru písemných projevů rodilých Irů nahlédnutím korpusu složeného z různých textů a porovnání, zda se jejich psaná forma liší od Anglického standardu či nikoliv.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of this thesis describes the main historic events contributing to the emergence of Irish English and then discusses the differences in pronunciation of several main dialects. Distinctions in other grammatical fields are being discussed further which are the main part the thesis. The practical part consists of the analysis of written forms made by native Irish by inspecting the corpus composed of various texts and a comparison whether their written form differs from the English standard or not.
