Geopolitics of Development Aid
Abstract:
Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou rozvojové spolupráce od počátku minulého století do současnosti. Hlavním cílem práce je vyzkoumat, zdali geopolitické národní zájmy hrají zásadní roli v rozhodování donorů o alokaci prostředků na rozvojovou spolupráci, a pokud ano, o které zájmy se aktuálně jedná, zdali ekonomické, politické či bezpečnostní.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with development assistance from the beginning of the last century to the present. The main objective is to investigate if geopolitical national interests play a crucial role in donor’s decisions about the allocation of funds for development aid and, if so, which interests, economic, political or security, are currently involved.
