Unauthorized use of photographs on the internet

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá neoprávněným užitím fotografií na internetu. Práce si klade za cíl zjistit, jakými způsoby může autor fotografického díla chránit svou vytvořenou práci před neoprávněnými zásahy v rámci českého práva. Práce definuje pojem autorského práva a autorského díla, kterým je zde fotografie. Dále se věnuje licenčním smlouvám, ochraně autorských práv a kolektivní správě. V praktické části je provedeno dotazníkové šetření na reprezentativním vzorku uživatelů internetu s cílem zjistit jejich znalosti v oblasti autorského práva a umísťování fotografií na internet.

Abstract:

This work deals with unauthorized use of photographs on the Internet. The aim of the thesis is to find out in what ways the author of the photographic work can protect his work from unauthorized interventions within the Czech law. The work defines the concept of copyright and the author's work, which is the photograph here. It also deals with license agreements, copyright protection and collective administration. In the practical part, a questionnaire survey is carried out on a representative sample of Internet users in order to find out their knowledge in the field of copyright and use of photographs on the Internet.
