Changes in the equity structure in 2014–2018

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá institutem vlastního kapitálu společností s ručením omezeným a akciových společností. Cílem práce je zjištění změn ve struktuře vlastního kapitálu ve vybraných 50 společnostech s ručením omezeným a vybraných 50 akciových společnostech po legislativních změnách v českém právním řádu, které nastaly zavedením Zákona o obchodních korporacích, Nového občanského zákoníku a změn v účetních předpisech. Diplomová práce díky komparaci získaných dat o výši základního kapitálu, kapitálových fondů a rezervních fondů z období let 2014–2018 poskytne a vyhodnotí dopady změn ve struktuře vlastních zdrojů společností podnikajících ve zkoumaných letech v oboru Silniční nákladní doprava. Výstupem práce je souhrn nejčastějších změn, pro které se vybrané společnosti během zkoumaných let rozhodly. Výsledky analýzy mohou poskytnout nové informace ostatním podnikatelským subjektům i široké veřejnosti nebo mohou sloužit k dalšímu výzkumu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the establishment of equity of limited liability companies and joint stock companies. The aim of the thesis is to determine changes in the structure of equity in 50 chosen limited liability companies and 50 chosen joint stock companies after legislative changes in the Czech legal system, which occurred with the introduction of the Commercial Corporations Act, the New Civil Code and changes in accounting regulations. Thanks to comparison of obtained data on the amount of registered capital, capital funds and reserve funds from the period 2014–2018, the diploma thesis is to provide and evaluate the effects of changes in the structure of own resources of companies operating in the studied years in road freight transport. The output of the work is a summary of the most common changes for which the selected companies decided during the years studied. The results of the analysis may provide new information to other businesses and the general public or may be used for further research.
