Bakalářská práce se zabývá zadržením a výslechem osoby, přičemž cílem práce je vymezit základní pojmy těchto problematik a podat ucelený náhled na obě témata. Samotným postupům a fázím zadržení i výslechu předchází vymezení pojmů z oblasti zadržení i výslechu, historické metody výslechu a jeho vývoj až do současné doby.
