Transport of Heavy and Oversized Freight

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Přeprava těžkých a nadrozměrných nákladů“ je zaměřena na analýzu těžké a nadrozměrné nákladní silniční přepravy. Cílem diplomové práce je charakterizovat silniční nadgabaritní přepravu a důležité elementy, které s ní souvisejí a na základě toho vytvořit ucelený popis procesu nadgabaritních přeprav. Dalším cílem diplomové práce je na konkrétním obchodním případu popsat průběh silniční nadgabaritní přepravy. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část vysvětluje základní pojmy týkající se nadgabaritních přeprav, přibližuje aktuální stav legislativy upravující tyto přepravy a představuje jejich specifika. Dále se detailně zabývá vymezením nadměrného nákladu nejen na území České republiky, ale i v zahraničí. Na závěr teoretické části jsou představeny vybrané společnosti operující na českém trhu těžkých a nadrozměrných přeprav. Praktická část obsahuje podrobný přehled vozového parku, který je využíván pro přepravu těžkých a nadrozměrných nákladů a rozbor konkrétních příkladů již proběhlých přeprav.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis "Transport of Heavy and Oversized Freight" is focused on analyzing the highway transport of such goods. The goal of the thesis is to characterize oversized goods transport. Furthermore, it will describe the process of transporting such freight on the basis of a specific commercial case. The theoretical part expounds basic concepts pertaining to oversized freight transport, summarizes the current state of the legislature and examines its specificities. Furthermore, it deals with the definition used for an oversized transport within the territory of the Czech Republic, as well as in other countries. At the conclusion of the theoretic part, selected companies operating in the Czech market for heavy and oversized freight are presented. The practical part of the thesis contains a detailed overview of the vehicle parks used in the transport of afore-mentioned goods and an analysis of specific cases of past heavy and oversized goods deliveries.
