The assessment of the level of communication policy in the selected financial institution

Abstract:

The aim my dissertation is to evaluate the level of communication policy of the selected financial institution, focusing on communications policy that identify the theoretical background to the various elements of marketing communications and then applied to a selected bank institution. The dissertation is divided into four chapters. It contains 21 pictures, 5 tables and 3 graphs. The first chapter is devoted to the theoretical background and the specifics of bank marketing and development bank marketing. The second chapter defines the various tools of marketing mix, namely product, price, distribution and marketing communication. The third chapter discusses the tools of communication policy in the last chapter introduce the company mBank retail banking BRE Bank SA in the Slovak banking market, its origin, history and strategy, as well as product, distribution and pricing of the bank. Based on the assessment of the various tools of communication policy mBank starting with the specific marketing campaigns, the work sought to emphasize open communication and the use of modern technology, such as the registration mark, contributing to a clear and long-term identification of the bank and its products on the Slovak banking market. At the end of this chapter are suggestions and recommendations that could contribute to the further development mBank SA.

Abstract:

Cieľom mojej diplomovej práce je zhodnotenie úrovne komunikačnej politiky vo vybranom peňažnom ústave, so zameraním sa na komunikačnú politiku t.j. identifikovať teoretické východiská jednotlivých prvkov marketingovej komunikácie a následne ich aplikovať na vybranú bankovú spoločnosť. Diplomová práca je rozdelená do štyroch kapitol. Obsahuje 21 obrázkov, 5 tabuliek a 3 grafy. Prvá kapitola je venovaná teoretickým východiskám a špecifikám bankového marketingu a vývoju bankového marketingu. Druhá kapitola definuje jednotlivé nástroje marketingového mixu, ktorými sú produkt, cena, distribúcia a marketingová komunikácia. Tretia kapitola rozoberá nástroje komunikačnej politiky a v poslednej kapitole predstavujem spoločnosť mBank retailové bankovníctvo BRE Bank SA na slovenskom bankovom trhu, jej vznik, históriu a stratégiu, ako i produktovú, distribučnú a cenovú politiku banky. Na základe zhodnotenia úrovne jednotlivých nástrojov komunikačnej politiky mBank s východiskom v konkrétnych marketingových kampaniach sa v práci snažím zdôrazniť otvorenú komunikáciu a využívanie moderných technológii, ako hlavného poznávacieho znaku, ktorým prispieva k jednoznačnej a dlhodobej identifikácii banky a jej produktov na slovenskom bankovom trhu. Na konci tejto kapitoly uvádzam návrhy a odporúčania, ktoré by mohli prispieť k ďalšiemu rozvoju mBank SA.
