Drama of Repetition - "Repetition as a Dramatic Tool in Samuel Beckett’s Writing"
Abstract:
Abstract:
This inquiry focuses on the study of repetition implemented as a dramatic tool in Samuel Beckett’s writing. It aims to represent the potential for an analysis of his work as conducted in isolation from the theatre of the absurd. The thesis concludes that repetition is one of the most significant features in Beckett’s drama and proposes that it be taken as a point of departure for further study.
