Leisure time activities and interests of primary school children in Ústí nad Labem

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá volným časem dětí mladšího školního věku v Ústí nad Labem. Předmětem zkoumání je volnočasové chování dětí, využívání volného času zájmovou činností a podíl školní zájmové činnosti v závislosti na věku. Dále zjišťuje, zda zájmový kroužek je vybírán dle přání dítěte, také spokojenost dětí s náplní volného času a souvislost mezi zájmovou aktivitou rodičů a dětí. Teoretická část práce se věnuje problematice volného času, zájmovým činnostem, rodině, škole, institucím ve volném čase, výchově mimo vyučování a období mladšího školního věku. Stručně charakterizujeme město Ústí nad Labem a okolí. V empirické části analyzujeme výsledky dotazníkového šetření, provedeného ve 3. a 5. třídě dvou základních škol v Ústí nad Labem.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with the leisure time of primary school children in Ústí nad Labem. Subject of research is leisure behavior of children, spending leisure time with special interest activities, and the share of activities organized by school in relation to age. It further investigates whether the extracurricular activities are selected according to child´s wish, also the satisfaction of children with the way of spending leisure time and relation between special interest activities of parents and their children. The theoretical part devotes to the issues of leisure time, special interest activities, family, school, leisure time institutions, education out of school and the aspects of younger school age period. It briefly characterizes Ústí nad Labem town and its surroundings. In empiric part it analyzes results of survey among pupils in 3rd and 5th class in two elementary schools in Ústí nad Labem.
