Water conservation and its impact on the economy

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na posouzení úspor vody a jejich dopadů na ekonomiku domácností a životní prostředí. V České republice každým rokem roste cena vody, což výrazně zvyšuje výdaje českých domácností za vodu. Tento trend je důvodem, proč jsou investice do úspor vody každým rokem důležitější. Ve světě trpí nedostatkem vody miliony lidí a jedním z důvodů je právě nadměrná spotřeba vody. Z těchto důvodů jsou v práci uvedeny možnosti a doporučení, které by mohly snížit spotřebu vody v domácnostech i ve světě.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis is focused on evaluation of water savings and its impacts on household economy and environment. Water prices are rising every year in Czech Republic, which greatly increases the water expenses of Czech households. This trend is the reason why are water investments increasingly important every year. There are millions of people suffering from water shortage in the world and one of the reasons is the excessive water consumption. For those reasons, the thesis states the options and recommendations, which could reduce water consumption in households and in the world.
