Diplomová práce se týká problematiky absolutního trestu, který již od roku 1990 není součástí našeho právního řádu. Práce se specializuje na vývoj tohoto trestu od prvních dochovaných zmínek, až po situaci po roce 1989. The thesis concerns the issue of absolute punishment, which has not been part of our legal system since 1990. The thesis focuses on the development of this punishment from the first surviving references to the situation after 1989.
