Solar passive systems and low energy building usage

Abstract:

Cílem předkládané bakalářské práce je popsat základní principy pasivních solárních systémů a jejich praktické využití. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na samotnou podstatu solární energie a na slabá místa v tepelně izolačních vlastnostech budov a omezení jejich tepelných ztrát. Dále jsou v teoretické části popsány základní principy pasivních solárních systémů a jejich funkce v tzv. solární architektuře. Praktická část se věnuje zhodnocení teplotních dat získaných měřením na dvou různých modelových objektech. Data jsou zhodnocena z hlediska místa měření, času měření, ročního období, okolní teploty a orientace měřeného systému vůči světové straně. V závěru bakalářská práce uvádí nedostatky a přednosti měřeného solárního systému a návrh možných doporučení na zlepšení tepelně technických vlastností měřených objektů.

Abstract:

The aim of the present bachelor thesis is to describe the basic principles of passive solar systems and their practical application. The theoretical part focuses on the very nature of solar energy as well as weak points in thermal insulation characteristics of buildings and their heat loss reduction. The theoretical part also describes the basic principles of passive solar systems and their function in the so called solar architecture. The practical part is devoted to evaluating the thermal data obtained from measurements performed on two different model objects. The data are evaluated in terms of the measurement place, measurement time, season, surrounding temperature and orientation of the measured system in relation to cardinal directions. The conclusion of the bachelor thesis outlines the weaknesses as well as strengths of the measured solar system and offers possible recommendations to improve the thermal and technical characteristics of the measured objects.
