Infections caused by pseudomonads are not risk for healthy individuals but they can cause serious problems to immunocompromised patients. These infections may lead to the death. Pseudomonas aeruginosa is the most frequently isolated species. Due to low nutrient requirements and high antimicrobial resistance it is common etiological agent of nosocomial infections.
