The peroxiredoxin family protein DsrE in sulfur-oxidizing bacteria
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis was dedicated to preparing and optimizing the expression of a recombinant DsrE protein from the bacterium Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans. The protein is part of the dissimilatory pathway responsible for sulfite reduction in the metabolism of sulfur-oxidizing acidophilic microorganisms.
